Dedicated to lifelong Jewish learning.
“Jewish life and education are watchwords of the Farash Foundation, as they were for Max and Marian Farash,” said Nathan J. Robfogel, chair of the Foundation’s board of trustees. “The Institute will create a hub of life-long learning for everyone: for individuals and groups affiliated with different Jewish denominations and congregations and for Jews in our local community who are not affiliated with any particular synagogue.”
Vision statement: The Farash Institute for Jewish Education is dedicated to lifelong Jewish education.
Mission statement: The Farash Institute for Jewish Education is a private not-for-profit that serves as an entity for all types of Jewish educational opportunities—formal, informal, cultural, and religious in the greater Rochester area—and that promotes mutual respect for the diversity of Jewish life.
